Safe Tooth Whitening From Trusted Milton Keynes Dentist

We have been doing Tooth Whitening for almost 20 years and we have seen all the fads over the last few years.

Tooth Whitening is very popular amongst patients of all ages in Milton Keynes because it gives a New Confidence. It makes you Feel and Look Younger

Patients can get some whitening products in shops but most are not effective at all because of the concentration of the whitener in the product.

There are unregulated providers who are practicing illegally and are not insured and often cause severe damage to patients teeth.

Experience tells us that Power Whitening (with lights and Lasers) gives a quick Whitening effect however the effect only lasts a short period and most of the improvement disappears after about 2 weeks.

On the other hand, the tray systems take a long time but the results are better and last far longer.

We also advise patients before they start the treatment to have Fluoride Treatments and to use a special Toothpaste that is high in Fluoride

The reason we do this is that there is less sensitivity and the final result is achieved much more quickly and the result is much longer-lasting.

Patients should understand that Tooth Whitening does not work for every patient and

We offer no Warranty or Guarantee of an improvement.

A great smile can significantly boost your confidence and how others view you. The appearance of your teeth is an important part of your smile and the way you look overall. Unfortunately, many lifestyle factors and the seemingly routine things you do day after day can discolour your teeth over time and contribute to the quality of your smile.

These include excessive consumption of coffee, tea and red wine, as well as food and drinks with strong colouring. Another major cause of discolouration is smoking, which can affect your smile not only by causing wrinkles to form around your mouth but can also by making your teeth appear yellow. Fortunately, laser teeth whitening can provide an effective solution.

At The Hub Dental Practice in Milton Keynes and The Cambridge Dental Hub, we offer professional laser power teeth whitening at affordable prices to rejuvenate your smile and give your teeth a healthy and attractive appearance.

Prior to commencing tooth whitening, It must be assessed if a patient is suitable for treatment. Various factors affect suitability and patients should have a healthy mouth before tooth whitening is started.

We advise all patients to have a full examination, including x-rays where appropriate, with a dentist prior to tooth whitening treatment.

If a patient has a regular dentist elsewhere and only wishes to have tooth whitening at the practice then we request that they provide a letter from their own dentist stating that the patient is dentally fit.

If a patient is interested in other options, such as veneers, then a cosmetic consultation is advised with a cosmetic dentist.

During the whitening consultation, the dentist will discuss all of the options and what is recommended for you.

Examples of what may make a patient unsuitable for tooth whitening include:

Gum disease
Front tooth restorations (that will not whiten)
Intrinsic stains (such as tetracycline staining)
